In August we ventured up to Idaho to visit Pete and Jen and to check out a new vacation spot. We got to see Pete and Jen's new house - its beautiful and what a great location.
We met Aunt Lisa, Uncle Dave and Veronica in the mountains of Idaho for a wonderful vacation. Our first morning we had to try the famous pancake house - the delicious pancakes we well worth the wait.
We spent some time at the nearby lake swimming and even paddleboarding. What a beautiful spot.
We discovered some great hiking trails and even found the perfect log for a picnic along the way.
Back at home, we made it to the annual festival in our town and Rachel opted to have her face painted like a cheetah this year!
School starts early for us, usually the third week in August. Hard to believe they are in 2nd and 3rd grade this year.
